The Star on Wuling Mountain 武陵山上的星光

Description:

The film tells of Shi Xing-Can, who for decades put down roots in the mountainous regions of western Hubei, firmly upholding a Communist Party member's faith in serving the people, always keeping the people's hardships and hopes close to heart, standing as one with them, bearing hardship first and enjoying comfort last. It celebrates his loyalty to the Party, devotion to his work, selfless dedication, and courage to shoulder responsibility. This is an uplifting, inspiring, and genuinely moving mainstream film full of positive energy — another model-of-the-times film in the tradition of Lei Feng, Jiao Yu-Lu, Kong Fan-Sen, and others.
