Description:
In the era of the Three Kingdoms, war rages across the land. Young Hua Tuo treats the common folk in his hometown of Bozhou, living a free and easy life. With his miraculous hands he brings the magistrate's daughter Ming Xin back from the dead, earning the name of a divine physician and forging an unbreakable bond with her. To develop mafeisan and cure Ming Xin's eyes, Hua Tuo sets out to travel and seek remedies. In the capital he repeatedly crosses paths with the hero Guan Yu, the scheming Cao Cao and his senior fellow disciple Wu Side, witnessing the treachery of officialdom and the coldness of the world. Show more What pains Hua Tuo most is that his beloved Ming Xin is forcibly taken by Wu Side. In the mountains of Eastern Wu, in despair, Hua Tuo receives the guidance of a hermit, awakens, and resolves to become a great physician for the people — one who heals bodies, hearts and the nation. The Battle of Red Cliffs, the scraping of poison from the bone, perilous journeys through hidden realms. Through wind and rain, his pure heart devoted to saving the common people never wavers. The successful creation of mafeisan finally brings Hua Tuo and Ming Xin's love to fruition, but just as happiness arrives, Cao Cao — driven by illness, suspicion and hatred — seizes Hua Tuo, and this great physician who healed the world and brought the dying back to life perishes in prison.
