Description:
The Harvest Moon (Chinese: 藍月亮) is a 1990 ATV youth school drama (a half-hour series). It premiered on January 9, 1990. Because its leads Law Chung-Wa, Peter Yung, Yuen Kit-Yee and others were all popular children's television hosts, the series was relatively well received among young audiences, and after its premiere it drew a large number of viewer request letters. It was the first work in which Law Chung-Wa and Joey Man took on leading roles.
Top student Joe resolves to pursue a girl named Eva. Show more Yet an accidental misunderstanding gradually drives him away from Eva, and he instead becomes a couple with Michelle. When he learns the truth, he must face being caught between two women, unable to choose. And by the time Joe realizes the one he truly loves is Eva, he has no choice but to say goodbye to her.
The series is distinctive for its heavy use of inner monologue, revealing the male lead's complex psychological shifts. It also weaves in many popular songs of the time to suit the needs of the story. Its style resembles that of Youth Trio and Sweet Twenty-Four Flavors from the RTV era.
