Description:
Past his thirtieth year, Meng Hao (Deng Chao), born into a prominent and powerful family and serving as the president of a certain company, is suave, still single, and every bit the wealthy, eligible bachelor. He has no interest in the swarm of flattering beauties who throw themselves at him; instead, his heart goes out to Lin Yu-Xin (Che Xiao), a senior majoring in Chinese literature at a university. One particular incident makes Meng Hao realize the purity and kindness of Yu-Xin's heart, and disregarding the fact that she already has a boyfriend, Hao Liang (Du Jiang), he launches a relentless pursuit. Show more To both sets of parents, this pairing of talent (and wealth) with beauty seems nothing short of a perfect marriage, but Yu-Xin stubbornly loves her impoverished boyfriend. Yet harsh reality drives the lovers apart, and Meng Hao gets his wish, marrying the girl he loves.
Married life is plain and uneventful, but through close contact the two, once separated by a vast gulf, begin to understand and appreciate each other. Everything seems wonderful, little knowing that true love is about to face its harshest trial
