Zhou Xue-Er was a happy, innocent girl who dreamed of love and was preparing for marriage, but during a trip to Malaysia she became entangled in a suspected murder case involving her boss, Lin Jing-Jun. Show more Taking pity on Jing-Jun, Xue-Er gave false testimony that let him escape conviction. From that moment on, Jing-Jun fell madly in love with Xue-Er, stopped at nothing to destroy her engagement, won her heart, and walked her down the aisle. Only after the wedding did Xue-Er learn that Jing-Jun had indeed been the real killer in that Malaysian case. Bit by bit his wolfish nature revealed itself: he was not only power-hungry and vindictive, but treated Xue-Er as his personal property. If she tried to run, he would torment her.
Xue-Er had a younger sister, Xue-Ling, once a girl on the margins who, thanks to Xue-Er's guidance, had returned to the right path. The two sisters were deeply devoted to each other. Seeing Xue-Er suffer such abuse, Ling tried to lead her out of Jing-Jun's clutches. When Jing-Jun found out, he raped Ling in a rage. Ling wanted to press charges through the proper channels, but by then Jing-Jun had grown powerful enough to cover the sky with one hand. Unwilling to accept this, Ling decided to take justice into her own hands, only to be killed by Jing-Jun.
From then on, anyone who tried to lend Xue-Er a hand met a fate of destruction. Heartbroken beyond words, Xue-Er finally understood that running away was no solution. The nightmare had already begun, and the only way to break it was to rely on herself. A story of a weak woman standing up to a demonic wolf... Twisted, bizarre, and utterly gripping!
